Cool

Alright, the voice acting could've had decent quality, but I enjoyed the simple humor. Nice work

Thanks a lot Gustavos, I'll try to keep my style to your liking!

So many young animators...

It's an inspiration.

Well the song choice was awesome, and the animations were just as. Good idea for a collab.

Not bad, not bad at all.

This was a fairly good ending to some series that I've never heard of. I don't know the story, but this sort of made me want to know more.

The spriting was very well done. I can see much of it was obviously inspired by movies like SMBZ, but still pretty good. I can't say I'm a big fan of Japanese anime/fight songs, but I know that some people just eat that stuff up. I won't complain, but I personally would've liked lyric-less songs.

Well I can't say much more. Good work.

Pretty good

Just not as good as the first. Close, but no cigarette.

Still a good thing that you made another though.

PostTimeskipSam responds:

I'd have to disagree with you, but then again I like this one better just because the animation, art, and interface was alot better than the original, but I am still glad you enjoyed this one. Thanks :D

Whoever is fiving this...

please stop. I really don't like people who five their own submissions each night, it's shameless and makes your score dishonest. You got this to a 3.00, isn't that enough?

ChandlerThompson responds:

It may be some of the users who don't have any other submissions. I mean, the only reason my other flashes are high is because of Clock Day.

fairly decent

I understand the frustration of the main character, as I have fallen victim to this for over a year.

AND I VOTES TEH FVIE CUZ A FAT KID ON A JETPAKS SEZ HE WOOD GIVE ME A E-COOKEE

Khris responds:

congrats on ur e-cookee

Well, what can I say?

This movie kicked some serious ass, now before I go on, let me say that this is the only episode I've seen of the series. I knew this series existed, I just never got around to watching it until these days where I have a little more time to myself. I might look into the rest of it in the future.

Anyway, first I'd like to thank you for making my day on Friday when I watched this (and I rewatched a little for reference just now). The animation symbolizes excellence. How realistic it is, how smart your choices were as the animator, and the use of foreshadowing. You are a great story teller.

Having not seen any of the series, I didn't know what was actually going on. But the beauty of it was, I didn't need to. This movie went by slowly so I could follow along and guess my way through those little mysteries. So Link and his little buddies survived some storm and ended up in Hyrule Town which is some sort of godly Metropolis of AWESOMESAUCE. And in the middle of this, Link gains Amnesia and has flashbacks of some things?. With an educated guess, I'll assume this is the Link from Ocarina of Time. Although that wouldn't explain Impa or Tingle, but then again, the ending of Ocarina of Time was with Young Link, not Adult Link. If so, then having this take place seven years after Ganon got his ass kicked was definitely a good choice. I can only wonder if Ganon takes part in the main plot.

The voice acting was wonderful and went realistically with the characters. I felt like I knew everybody already (well, not really since there were about 20 in this movie). But it was all good. The characters were well portrayed. I think I fell in love with Diggs's ego during the Bazaar and Bar scenes. It's nice that you shown just what Hyrule could be like at the right times. Just one thing that still seems important that I'm not sure if I like or not. Hylians have long pointy ears, but when they feel a sense of confusion or sadness, you have their ears droop downward like a cat. I don't know why that still holds my attention.

The art was wonderful. I loved the Main Menu, with that watery effect you said. The fairy that follows the mouse is seemingly just above the water creating realistic ripples along the surface. Not only is this original and looks great, I can tell how much time you took into each detail of your movie.

One last thing, how did you possibly manage to fit a 13 minute movie into 10.8 MB?

...

Well, where can I start?

It was a while ago that you submitted Ep 1. It wasn't front paged, but I still saw it that day. I thought it was pretty neat (and worthy of front page since it was your first), but soon forgot it. Now, over a year later (I'm guessing), you continue what you had like a professional. That is why this movie is, and more importantly, belongs on the front page.

Now people got a little angry with how Mario took down Hooktail, saying it was unoriginal. Well no, there's a difference between originality and creativity. What you did was uncreative. As if you just wanted to end the scene. Which even dissappointed me a little. Saying it was uncreative may be worse than calling it unoriginal, but if people say this is useless, then that's their problem.

No, what I want to talk about, is more specific things. Mario spoke at one point. The "You go to hell" and "You suck" was so damn unexpected, it made me laugh.

The airship scene not only kicked ass, but showed off your skill. The shock Luigi had after the explosion just oozed animating excellence. When the purple thief (forgot his name) got blown away, that also was done very well.

I can see you want this series in a serious, PG-13 tone. It's a nice touch, and quite uncommon in Mario movies. You pulled it off quite nicely. I like how the majority of themes were based off the Mario RPG games. Also, a good move. With plenty of characters and locations to choose from. The Firevalley however, was sort of odd. It's a recreation of the Petalburg from Paper Mario 2, why don't you just name it that? Mario's hammer becoming regular size at the press of a button. That idea practically made my day.

All I can say is good luck. Also, you should definitely make these episodes faster. Over a year for a four minute movie? I thought I was slow. You can't rush good movies, but feel free to make them even shorter if you want them out faster.

So Egoraptor...

I found the secret behind this flash's title...

You couldn't fit Awesome in it anywhere.

very entertaining

In the second round, I wish you actually could pull off some of those moves in Megaman 2. Nice sprite work and drawn animation. My only complaint is the choice of fight music.

Seriously, did you really have to choose that?

You've come a long way. Here, have a cookie...your inventory seems to be full. Come back when you can carry more items, I'll hold onto this for you. *Munch* *Crunch*
